How does the Level System work on Google Maps?
Google's Local Guides program rewards users for their contributions with points. The more high-quality reviews, photos, videos, or place edits a profile submits, the more points it earns. Upon reaching specific point milestones, the Local Guide levels up – starting at Level 1 and going all the way to the ultimate Level 10.
